Profession: Information Technology- Application Architect

Racing Start:  Prone in 1998 as a Lifeguard for North Wildwood Beach Patrol

Training: Finding time to train is a weekly miracle. My wife is an avidrunner and has been training for the Boston Marathon. She is the priority. When I do get to paddle (3 days per week right now) I enjoy changing speeds. My training group has a series of interval workouts that combine sprint, race speed and long builds. My body needs two of those per week. My thirdday is always a min of 2 hours. You have to stretch it out.

Favorite Moment: My favorite moment from the sport would have to be when Iplaced 3rd in the prone division and 3rd overall at The Dean. In 2014 Iplaced 14th overall and 5th in the prone division. Race time was around 4 ¾hrs. In 2015 I cut my time by 30 minutes and finished 3rd overall. It wasthe payoff from hard work. By far the best feeling I had was crossing thatfinish line with family watching.

Equipment:I have a 14ft Eaton and an 18ft Bark Catalina Unlimited. I'm looking to expand that to a 12ft Bark Commander Pro to round out my quiver.
